Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) condemned the brutal act of rape committed on a minor girl namely Asifa in HiraNagar Kathua district, exposed the failure of Government machinery especially the Police work who have not been able to pledge such incidents. JMF is of the opinion that “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” programme of Prime Minister is only a fake slogan. The recent act of rape has proved that J&K is no longer a safe heaven for girl child. JMF appealed the Chief Minister who herself is a lady. Should act in a strong way and put the Police Administration of District Kathua under suspension. Pre-mature retirement of the concerned DSP + SP’s to send a strong message to the law enforcement agency. JMF condole the death of little child and pray for the departed soul and sympathy with the bereaved family. JMF also cautioned to the people of the State to the vigilant and not to leave their children alone.(KNO)
